High Court verdict final sad chapter in Railtrack saga

The High Court which ruled against the action brought by 49,000 Railtrack private investors is the final sad chapter in the Railtrack saga.  This decision may leave Railtrack shareholders feeling hard done by, however it is the travelling public who had to suffer a doubling in delays on our railways who were the ones who really suffered from its final breakdown. Ultimately it was right that Railtrack came to the end of the line.
