Cameron’s Tuition Fees U-Turn Proves Tories Can’t Be Trusted

The Conservative Party has announced a U-turn on student finance and proposes to keep student tuition fees.

David Cameron today told sixth formers that if universities were to be well funded, the money had to come from somewhere. In another change Cameron also said he believed there should be no limit on student numbers.

David Cameron himself wrote the Tory manifesto that contained pupil passports and a pledge to scrap tuition fees. In less than 12 months he has completely changed his mind. The only thing pupils and parents can be sure of is that the Tories can't be trusted.
